Brezo

Well, my name is Brezo. I don’t even know where I fit into this world… nowhere and everywhere it seems. I have this other world living in my head and doing this is how I keep from exploding. The main content of my work is centered around the distinct society of citizens who are part of said world that surfaced sometime during my youth.  Since then, it has evolved as an effort to make sense of my personal reality, then and now. I named this place VelaCera. ‘Velacera’ is a reflection of this world as I experience it, translated through the language of the images I paint and draw. Its biorhythms are identical to ours and it is self-evolving.  Their citizens are our own selves; our experiences in life are reflected in them.
