Debbie Pucek

Debbie is a Dallas artist/musician originally from Kaiserslaughtern, Germany. She has a long history of travel, from both growing up and touring, that will soon bring her to Chicago.

Since she could pick up a pencil, she has created countless characters and atmospheres inspired by her greatest influences. Japanese culture, cartoons, comics, animals, and films by Wes Anderson have always been a prominent shadow in Debbie’s work. Various types of music play a large role in her atmospheres. Namely post-punk group The Blood Brothers and the electronic outfit Ratatat.

Debbie is currently working on the release of her band’s ( Sayonara ) debut album and her departure from Texas. She paints, draws, and practices various interments in her free time.
